Get them a gift card instead. They can use the gift card to book their next visit or purchase other items at the Museum.

Tickets FAQ

  • You can see nearly all of the Museum’s facilities for free. A ticket is only needed to enter the Museum’s exhibit space.

    Come and view the Museum’s cafe, lounge, library, foyers and more.

  • Yes if you come during public hours you can purchase your ticket(s) when you arrive.

    We encourage you to purchase your ticket(s) ahead of time so you can plan your trip, avoiding any delays, and to let us know when you are coming.

    If you are coming in a group however, looking to come during the week we request that you purchase your tickets online, email or call us to organise your booking. This will provide you the discount on your tickets, and ensure we can reserve you a spot.

  • Tickets are for entry into The Museum’s exhibit space. All other facilities of The Museum are free and do not require a ticket.

    These include but are not limited to

    • The Museum’s Cafe

    • Lounge

    • Library

    • Foyers

    • Gift Shop

    So if you are interested in The Museum’s exhibits, whilst your partner, mates or others are not, everyone we be able to enjoy themselves at The Museum.

  • Once purchased your ticket(s) will be emailed to the nominated address.

    The email will contain all of your booking’s information. Including your reference number, quantity, time, date, location etc.

    Please present your ticket(s) to gain access to The Museum’s exhibits

  • Ticket options are broken up into individuals, families and groups to make booking simply and cheaper.

    You can book any combination of tickets to suit your mates, family or group.

    Example: 3 General Admission tickets, 1 Senior’s ticket and 2 Children Under 12 Years tickets.

    If you are coming in a group of 50 people or more, please contact us directly to book your group’s outing.

  • A ticket will provide you access to The Museum for the day. So you can come and go as you please during the day.

    A pass will provide you access to The Museum over multiple days. For example an Annual Pass is reusable, and will provide you access for all open days in the year.

  • Companion Card Ticket Procedure:

    The Brisbane Motor Museum is happy to support Companion Card holders.

    The Companion Card procedure is relevant to card holders who have a disability and a lifelong need for 'attendant care support', who by utilising the card are assisted with the cost of participating in community activities and attend venues.

    The Brisbane Motor Museum’s companion card holder ticket procedure is as follows:

    1. Please purchase the ticket or tickets the card holder requires: General, Concessional or Children.

    2. If applicable purchase any other tickets required for their guests or children. Excluding the companion who will receive their free ticket as the holder’s assistant, carer, family member, friend or partner.

    3. Receive your ticket(s) via email and attend the Museum during your the window.

    4. Please present your companion card upon arriving at the Museum to receive the free ticket for your Companion.
