At Brisbane Motor Museum, exhibits don't sit still. Every three months, our museum transforms with a completely new theme, bringing together vehicles, objects and stories that explore automotive history from a fresh perspective.
Some exhibits lean into nostalgia. Others spark debate. All are designed to be experienced while they're here.

Coupes, Customs & Convertibles brings together three distinct expressions of automotive passion. Sleek fixed roof coupes, wind in your hair convertibles, and one of a kind custom builds that break all the rules.
From factory fresh performance machines to handcrafted hot rods and tastefully modified street icons, this exhibit showcases vehicles that turn heads and tell stories. Some represent precision engineering and refined design. Others reflect personal vision, creativity, and countless hours in the workshop.

Customs redefine what is possible, built not bought and shaped by imagination.
Convertibles bring freedom and flair, designed to be driven and experienced in the open.
Together, they create a dynamic display of performance, personality, and craftsmanship across generations.

Each exhibit runs for approximately three months. Once it's gone, it's gone to make room for the next theme. If something catches your eye, put it in your calendar.

Our exhibits aren't built around how many vehicles we can fit into our space. Instead, each vehicle is intentionally selected by our team because it fits the story we're telling in that particular exhibit. Whether that's an era, a design philosophy or a cultural shift.

Not every vehicle you see inside our museum belongs to us. Our exhibits are shaped by vehicles and objects sourced from far and wide, from local collectors to interstate owners who are willing to share a piece of automotive history for a limited time.
Each car, motorcycle or object is selected because it fits the story we're telling in that particular exhibit, not because it's part of a permanent collection.
